A Namibian international defender has reportedly penned a deal to play in the PSL in the new season. The defender’s name is Charles Hambira who has been playing for Tura Magic in Namibia’s Premier League.
According to reports in Namibia, the 28-year-old who has been the captain of Tura Magic has penned a two-year deal with the Limpopo outfit.
It was recently reported by the Siya crew that Baroka have made a U-turn on defender Mashale Rantabane whom they signed at the end of last season but later decided on pulling out of the deal.
The Namibian defender who is joining Bakgaga is likely to fill the void left by Rantabane who is also a left-back.
“I am very happy that I finally got a professional contract. I will work hard to prove my worth in the team,” Hambira told the media in Namibia.
Hambira will join countryman Ananias Gebhardt at the Limpopo outfit, while other Namibian Virgil Vries has left to join Kaizer Chiefs.
