Despite Kaizer Chiefs coming out to say that Abia Nale has been put on the transfer list, the player has denied any knowledge of the latest developments.
The Sebokeng-born midfielder spent the last five months on loan at Ajax Cape Town after experiencing a lack of game time at the Soweto giants and, after doing well down in the Cape, it was expected that he would be given a chance to break into Stuart Baxter’s starting line-up.
However, it now looks like he is not in the former Bafana Bafana coach’s plans going forward. The Amakhosi revealed on their website earlier today, “Abia Nale has been put on transfer after having returned on loan from Ajax Cape Town.”
However, when contacted by the crew about the news, the dribbling wizard said, “Oh, is that the case? Where did you get that from? Thanks for letting me know and I will definitely check the website. I haven’t been told anything and I’ve been back home relaxing, waiting to hear what my next move is.”
The Siya crew recently reported that Nale is on the wanted list of SuperSport United, while the Urban Warriors were also keen to bring him in on a permanent basis.
