Word coming from Mangaung is that Bloemfontein Celtic central defender, Limbikani Mzava, has started light training as he works his way back from injury.
The 23-year-old player has been out of action for some time after suffering a groin injury in the latter stages of the first half of the campaign. He did not take part in the club’s first game of the year when they beat neighbours Free State Stars 2-0 on Saturday, but is slowly working his way back to full fitness.
Mzava has been one of the key players in Ernst Middendorp’s team, as the Malawian can play in either right back or central defence. He is not expected to be back when Phunya Sele Sele take on University of Pretoria on Sunday, but will be pleased that he is making progress in his recovery progress.
