Word coming out of the Orlando Pirates camp is that midfielder Sifiso Myeni will resume training today, though remains a doubtful starter for Saturday’s CAF Champions League semi-final first leg against clach against Esperance.
Myeni could not play any part in last week’s MTN8 final between Bucs and Platinum Stars because of a groin injury.
Pirates coach Roger de Sa has since confirmed to the Siya crew that Myeni will train with the rest of the squad today.
“Yes, Sifiso will train with the team today and we’ll be monitoring his progress but a decision on whether to play him or not will be made tomorrow,” said De Sa.
Meanwhile, De Sa has welcomed the return of midfielder Thandani Ntshaumayelo.
“Bibo played for 60 minutes in a friendly this past weekend and although he is still a little bit rusty, we are happy to have him back,” added De Sa.
Pirates will take on Esperance in a CAF Champions League first leg semi-final clash at Orlando Stadium on Saturday night.
