Orlando Pirates winger, Sifiso Myeni, could still make tomorrow’s Soweto derby, despite feeling a niggling injury in his thigh.
The 25-year-old came off with 20 minutes to go in Pirates’ recent 0-0 draw with Al Ahly as they managed to qualify for the semi-finals of this year’s CAF Champions League.
While his participation in tomorrow’s Soweto derby is still uncertain, the player says that he thinks he should be fit to play in the MTN8 encounter.

Speaking to the Siya crew, Myeni said, “It was just a little bit of a knock but I trained today, just a light session. I did some jogging and felt a little bit of pain but I think by tomorrow I should be fine. We’ll see what happens.”
Pirates welcome Chiefs to Orlando Stadium at 15h00 tomorrow afternoon where they hope to use their 1-0 advantage from the first leg to reach the final of this year’s MTN8 tournament.
