Former Free State Stars striker Moeketsi Mvula has penned a six-month deal with National First Division side FC Cape Town.
The 25-year-old marksman was released from his contract with Free State Stars at the end of last season, despite having started a decent 19 games in the league. Since then he had been trying his luck at different PSL sides, notably Wits and Bloemfontein Celtic. He was also strongly linked with a move to Orlando Pirates, although nothing came of it.
Mvula told the Siya crew, “Yes, I’ve signed for six months with FC Cape Town. I put pen to paper on Thursday, after having trained with them for the past week. I’m glad about this move and I really hope to do well.”
