Kaizer Chiefs striker, Knowledge Musona, will reportedly be unavailable for selection for at least the next six weeks. The player picked up a shoulder injury during Chiefs' Telkom Knockout quarter-final victory over Free State Stars on 20 October.
At the time it was unclear for just how long the player would be out for. However, it's now been revealed by the club's physiotherapist, Dave Milner, that he would be out until some time in December.
He also disclosed that the Zimbabwean's injury wasn't common and that his recovery would depend on his response to treatment.
Milner told the club's official website, “It's not a common shoulder injury. It will depend on how Musona responds to treatment. We are monitoring him and we have anticipated about six weeks as a period of recovery."
If he was to return sometime in mid-December it'd mean he would be available for the matches against University of Pretoria and AmaZulu on the 14th and 21st of that month.
