Mamelodi Sundowns striker, Nyasha Mushekwi, will soon depart for Belgium after being offered trials with two clubs in the country.
There has been much speculation over the future of the forward in recent weeks, with his club attempting to use him as part of a swap deal to tempt some of their targets to Chloorkop for the new season.
However, the player’s agent, Ralph Nkomo, recently told the crew that his player would not be swapped, and that the Zimbabwean will leave for a club that he wants to join, not who Sundowns want him to join.
Now, while Nkomo wouldn’t reveal the names of the two Belgian outfits, he did confirm that the striker does have trials set up in Europe.
A source close to the player revealed that Mushekwi is growing increasingly frustrated at life with the Brazilians.
The source said, “Nyasha is getting very frustrated. Sundowns have told him that they are willing to let him leave, but they have made the terms for that to happen increasingly difficult.”
It is looking extremely unlikely that the 25-year-old will be with Sundowns next season, although he is still contracted at Chloorkop and the club will have the last say on whether he moves on or not.
