Mamelodi Sundowns striker Nyasha Mushekwi was back in action for KV Oostende during the side’s 2-0 loss to Waasland-Beveren on the weekend.
Mushekwi is playing for the Belgian outfit on loan from Sundowns. The 26-year-old came on in the second half and tried without success to help his side come out of the fixture with a result.
Oostende are sat in 15th place on the log, in a 16-team league in Belgium. The team has accumulated six points from 10 games so far this season.
Mushekwi and his teammates will be trying to improve on their log standing when they host Mechelen in their next league game this weekend.
Mushekwi is expected to return to the PSL at the end of his loan term in Belgium, although Frederik Vanderbiest may be keen to hold on to him on a permanent basis.
