New Orlando Pirates signee has urged his new club’s supporters to be safe during the festive holidays.
The midfielder who already has a goal to his name having scored against his former side Bloemfontein in a league encounter told Soccer Laduma that he urges the Bucs faithful to remain wherever they will be and to enjoy their holidays responsibly.
“I would like to urge all our fans to be careful, from the time they travel to the various destinations to when they attend various the various events that will be taking place during these holidays,” said the 30-year-old midfielder.
He further took the time to wish his new teammates a Happy Christmas and New Year filled with prosperity.
“To my teammates who have welcomed me so warmly I wish all of you and your families a Blessed Christmas and prosperous New Year for 2018,” he added.
When asked what he will be getting up to during the Christmas period, Nytama told Soccer Laduma that the most important thing is to spend time with his family.
“All I know is that I will spend time with my family and make sure I don’t put on weight ahead of the New Year,” he jokingly told the Crew.
The former Celtic midfielder will look to build on his impressive start for the Buccaneers in 2018. Nyatama already has 13 league appearances for his new club and has made Coach Milutin Sredojević’s starting eleven 12 times.
Pirates start the New Year with a league encounter against Baroka FC on Saturday 6 January 2017.
