Word making its way to the Siya crew’s desk is that Gor Mahia defender, Musa Mohammed, is attending trials at University of Pretoria.
The club secretary, Chris Omondi, said the club has been communicating with FISA academy requesting for the release of the player between March 20-28.
Speaking to Gor Mahia, the secretary said the defender will attend trials in South Africa and wished him well.
“We have received FISA academy's request to allow Musa attend trials in South Africa and we wish him well. The technical bench has also been notified of the request. Mohammed was recruited from FISA academy in 2010 and has played an integral part of the Gor Mahia's defence over the last four seasons. His versatility has seen him play across the face of defence,” said Omondi.
Mohammed has featured in the heart of defence before shifting to both right and fullback roles. He has made six starts this season at right full-back.
