Zimbabwean goalkeeper Energy Murambadoro is back at Wits, after spending the 2012/13 season without a club.
Although Murambadoro has been given the task of training the young goalkeepers on his return to the side, the Siya crew has been informed that the player has his sights set on returning to the first team.
“Energy is back at Wits. He is coaching the youngsters at the moment. The team’s goalkeepers are injured at the moment and he wants to try and make a bid for the position. The player’s return to the first team is something that still needs to be discussed further with all parties involved,” a source close to the player revealed.
Murambadoro lost his place at the Students at the end of last season when he was deemed surplus to requirements.
