Luvhengo Mungomeni’s agent tells the Siya crew that the Moroka Swallows defender could leave the Birds if the club does not offer him what he wants.
Speaking to the Siya crew, Luvhengo’s agent, Chief Mungomeni said Swallows were still the defender’s priority, but added that they would listen to other offers if the Birds offer less than what they want.
“At this stage, Swallows are still his priority because I want him to stay at Swallows and he is happy to stay. But having said that, if we don’t agree on a new contract then, we’ll consider the three to four offers I have already got from some PSL teams,” Mungomeni told the Siya crew.
“You have to understand that Papi is no longer a youngster, so I can’t just accept any offer for him. I need to get the best deal for him, so if Swallows are prepared to offer him what he wants, then he is going nowhere. But like I said, if we don’t agree on a new offer then he will leave Swallows,” added Mungomeni.
Meanwhile, Luvhengo in his interview in this week’s edition of Soccer Laduma confirmed that he was happy to stay at Swallows if the club was also willing to keep him.
“I’m not really looking for a move away from Swallows because I’m happy here, but the decision on whether I stay or move doesn’t rest with me alone, the Swallows management have a say as well. I might be happy and willing to stay here, but if they feel that it’s time for me to go, then I will go,” commented Mungomeni.
