Kaizer Chiefs' defence of their MultiChoice Diski Shield title came to an abrupt end after drawing with Orlando Pirates on Sunday afternoon.
Simo Bophelo's strike just before the break handed the Buccaneers the lead, but Chiefs were level in the 93rd minute thanks to Sibusiso Milazi well-taken finish.
The point was enough to send Pirates to the semi-finals of the tournament while Chiefs finish third in the group, meaning there will be a new champions this year.
SuperSport United 2-1 Free State Stars
SuperSport United rallied from behind to defeat Free State Stars on Sunday morning.
Jerome Jonkers gave Stars the lead on the stroke of halftime, before Mokoena restored parity in the 68th minute.
However, SuperSport left it late to secure the winner, with Tendamudzimu Matodzi firing home in second-half stoppage time to send SuperSport to the semi-finals.

Mamelodi Sundowns defeated Polokwane City 3-1 on Sunday to secure their spot in the final four.
Sundowns finished three points clear of second-place Polokwane, while Baroka and Black Leopards finished third and fourth respectively.
