Mamelodi Sundowns fans wishing to see Mukuka Mulenga in action for their team will have to wait a little longer before that can happen.
The Zambian, who joined the Brazilians in August, is still struggling with the knee injury that has kept him on the sidelines for some time.
“The guys that are still injured include Mukuka Mulenga and the two goalkeepers, Thela Ngobeni and Glenn Verbauwhede. That’s the latest I have, although I am expecting to talk to the doctors and some of the guys at the club again soon,” a source at Sundowns revealed.
Mulenga is currently not registered with the league. The midfielder is waiting for his work permit, as was revealed in issue 838 of Soccer-Laduma.
He signed a three-year deal when he joined the Chloorkop-based outfit last month. Mulenga missed Zambia’s game against Ghana as his national team saw their 2014 World Cup dream come to an end, following the team’s 2-1 loss to the Black Stars last week.
