Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Mukuka Mulenga has been named in Zambia’s squad for the game against Brazil, scheduled for October 15.
The coach of Zambia, Herve Renard, has included the Sundowns man despite having been sidelined by injury since joining the Chloorkop-based outfit.
Mulenga has been named alongside his Sundowns teammate, Kennedy Mweene, for the high-profile friendly against the five-time FIFA World Cup champions.
Other players well-known to South African fans that are in Renard’s 26-man squad include Davies Nkausu of SuperSport United and Joseph Musonda from Golden Arrows.
Orlando Pirates striker Collins Mbesuma, who has been sidelined by injury this season, has also been included in the team.
