Cape Town City midfielder, Mpho Makola has named his all-time best PSL XI including substitutes for the bench.
While getting in the full swing of training indoors during the COVID-19 nationwide lockdown, Makola had some time to catch up with Soccer Laduma where the midfielder revealed the 11 players that would make his PSL dream team.
In the goalkeeping department, Makola has chosen the late former Orlando Pirates number one and Bafana Bafana international Senzo Meyiwa.

At the right and left-back positions, the midfielder chose Thabo Matlaba and Patrick Phungwayo respectively; two of his former Pirates teammates. Jonathan Mensah and Old John Mabizela thereafter come in as a centre-back pairing.
In the 33-year-old’s midfield is made up of Oupa Manyisa, the late Gift Leremi and Teko Modise, while Surprise Ralani and Thulani Serero turn out in attack and Kermit Erasmus leading in the number nine position.

Makola has also included a substitutes bench, which is made up of Itumeleng Khune, Tshegofatso Mashego, Paulus Masehe, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Robyn Johannes, Thamsanqa Gabuza and Lebogang Manyama.
