The representative of Katlego Mphela says that he expects to have a decision on the Mamelodi Sundowns’ striker’s next move in the next two days.
Mphela’s future has been the subject of much speculation in recent months, with the media consistently linking him with a move away from Chloorkop.
However, it seems that Killer is yet to decide on his where his future lies, although he could soon make his final decision.
The 29-year-old has been linked with SuperSport United, who are believed to have opened talks with him, as well as Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
Speaking to the Siya crew Glyn Binkin said, “Given the last six months it was important for me to what his line of thinking was and meet up with him in person. He was away over Christmas and New Year, but we met this morning to discuss the way forward.
“Now I have a closer idea of what he wants to do and while I expect there to be developments in the next couple of days, I can’t disclose any further information just yet.”
While SuperSport are thought to have made contact with Mphela, there is interest from other clubs, including his current one, and his future is by no means decided.
The Siya crew will continue to monitor Mphela’s current situation at Sundowns, although by next week we could know where the former Bafana Bafana man will be playing his football.
