According to Siya crew sources, Bloemfontein Celtic want Rama Mphahlele as part of the deal that could see Thabo Nthethe join Mamelodi Sundowns.

It was revealed yesterday that Sundowns and Celtic had begun negotiations regarding the possible transfer of the current Siwelele captain as Msandawana close in on their long-term target.

However, with Nthethe having recently signed a new three-year contract in Bloemfontein, his club are well within their rights to demand a substantial fee for the Bafana Bafana international.

Now, the crew are led to believe that Celtic want Mphahlele as well as cash in exchange for the services of Nthethe, however no agreement has been reached as of yet.

Celtic and Sundowns have just a few hours to come to an agreement before the PSL transfer window slams shut at 5pm, and both clubs will be keen to get what they want before that time comes.
