Mphahlele Braced For Celtic

Ramahlwe Mphahlele expects an "exciting game" when Mamelodi Sundowns open their Premiership season against Bloemfontein Celtic today.

The big-spending Brazilians, who finished outside of the top eight last term, will be hoping to make amends this time around, with Mphahlele revealing spirits are high in Chloorkop.

He said that Downs have had a good pre-season campaign and the whole squad is looking forward to stamping their mark.

"It will be an exciting game," Mphahlele said.

"We have to start on a good note and continue from there. We all know that Celtic are a good side and playing at home they have a good support base but we are well aware of that and we will go there to play our game," the former Moroka Swallows man expressed.
