Former Platinum Stars defender Phelelani Mpangase is looking to land himself a deal with Moroka Swallows. Mpangase recently parted ways with Dikwena and his now aiming to continue with his professional career elsewhere.
The 29-year-old is a free agent and can sign with any team and at any time. Should he impress coach Zeca Marques and his technical, the defender could join the Dobsonville-based outfit.
A Soccer-Laduma source within the Swallows camp confirmed the former Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United player’s presence with the Siya crew. “Phelelani Mpangase is training with the team. He is doing well at training so far, and could be a good signing for the team,” said the source.
Mpangase is hoping to revive his career at Swallows, having struggled for form at Stars under coach Cavin Johnson.
