Platinum Stars defender Phelelani Mpangase is set to leave the side if there are no changes to his current situation.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns player has struggled for game time this season.
News reaching Soccer-Laduma is that the 29-year-old has already thought about furthering his career away from the club. Mpangase last enjoyed his game at Dikwena under the team’s former coach Owen da Gama. He has not played a game for the side this season.
Bloemfontein Celtic, Chippa United and Maritzburg United are believed to be watching the player’s situation at the Phokeng-based outfit.
Stars are currently in negotiations with some of the players that are in coach Cavin Johnson’s plans for the season to extend their deals. The players that are no longer in the plans are expected to exit the side before the end of the January transfer window.
Stars have already parted ways with Joseph Mkalipa as plans for the second round of the season continue at the club.
