Maritzburg United midfielder Travis Graham has shared the mood in the camp ahead of hosting Orlando Pirates this weekend.
The Team of Choice hasn't played in three weeks due to the busy schedules of their opponents in the CAF Confederation Cup and Graham says the team is prepared for the clash, despite being informed on Thursday about the fixture.
"We were prepared for something like this to happen, the coach has always been telling us to be on our toes and be ready for something like," said Graham, speaking with the club's media team.
"The training session has been intense, it has been good and we are looking good, we just need to prepare to work on technical."
Maritzburg have had a good run of form in the league after a very difficult mid-season, which saw them in a dangerous position on the log. Graham says every game will be key for them to survive relegation.
"We've been in good run, it important to keep the momentum going. We are hungry to get three points as we understand that we still in the relegation zone. By getting good results in our catch up games, it will be booster for us and will motivate us.
"Orlando Pirates is a big brand, we need to give them respect but we are motivated for us to do well. We just want to get maximum points on Sunday."
The clash takes place on Sunday at 18:30.
