Orlando Pirates legend, Edward Motale, believes that the side has a chance of doing well against Esperance this weekend.
Bucs face the Tunisian giants in the CAF Champions League first leg semi-finals at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
Although 'Magents' admits that he would have preferred to see Pirates play the first leg tie in Tunisia, he told the Siya crew that Roger de Sa’s side should aim to score goals against the Tunisians.
“I think our guys still have a chance. I would have loved it if the first leg game was played away in Tunisia so that we can come and finish them off this side.
"It’s going to be very difficult when we go that side. It’s a must-win game for Pirates. They need to win the game by 3-0 or 4-0 if they can do it.
"A draw won’t do us any good. If we can beat Esperance I don’t think we will have any problems against Al-Ahly,” said Motale.
Motale was an important member of the Pirates side that won the CAF Champions League trophy, after beating Asec Mimosa in the final in Ivory Coast in 1995.
“I told Lucky (Lekgwathi) that it’s about time that we talk about him and the team for the next decade. We have to talk about him for a change. Let’s hope for the best,” explained Motale.
