Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Pitso Mosimane, says his side didn’t sign players last month because of the quality they have in the team.
The Brazilians didn’t sign any players during the January transfer window, which came as a surprise to some, as the club is usually busy in the market whenever there is a chance to bring in new players.
Instead, Sundowns loaned some of the players from their current squad to the other clubs in the league.
Luyolo Nomandela was loaned to Moroka Swallows with Bonginkosi Ntuli sent to AmaZulu, while Punch Masenamela and Bryce Moon were loaned to Platinum Stars.
“We did not sign any players during the January window. We have enough quality,” Mosimane was quoted saying by the PSL’s official Twitter account.
