Moroka Swallows have confirmed that Fani Madida has been handed the head coaching position at the club on a permanent basis following his spell as interim.
The news of Madida’s appointment is reported in tomorrow’s issue of Soccer Laduma (908), however the club chose to announce his hiring on their website this afternoon.
Prins told the club’s official website, “Swallows Management had full confidence in Fani and considering the work he has put in preparing the squad for the second half of the season and the excellent spirit and work ethic he has instilled in the players, there was no need to delay such a decision.
“The squad has trained very hard during the break and we look forward to a successful second round.”
Madida, who has been interim coach since Zeca Marques was fired, will be in charge of his first game as permanent head coach tonight when the Dube Birds take on Mamelodi Sundowns.
