According to CAF, Bouchaib will be assisted by fellow Moroccan assistant referees Lahmidi Mohamed and Filali Mouhib Abdallah. Mabrouk Mounir will be the fourth official.

Pirates booked their spot in the semi-finals after holding Egyptian giants Al Ahly to a draw, and so finishing as Group A runners up this past weekend.

Esperance beat Ivory Coast’s Cotonsport to finish as Group B winners.
