As reported in this week's issue of Soccer Laduma, the veteran centre back’s future is up in the air at present, and while his current contract will only expire at the end of next season, there is a possibility he could leave in the next transfer window.

It is thought that Gould’s future could largely rely on what happens with his teammate, Erick Mathoho, who has been linked with a move to Europe, with Gould’s departure possibly only arising should ‘Tower’ remain at the club.

The crew has learnt that both Gould’s former club, SuperSport United, and his former head coach, Gavin Hunt (now at Bidvest Wits), would be keen to land the 31-year-old, though it remains to be seen as to whether that will be a viable option or not.
