News reaching the Siya crew is that there could be more South African players leaving for Thailand in search of greener pastures in the near future.
Word is that Mzwanele Mahashe and Phikolomzi Kefile could be next to leave for Asia in search of overseas deals.
“Lizo (Mjempu) is in Thailand already. Mzwanele Mahashe and Phikolomzi Kefile were supposed to leave with him when he left a few weeks ago. They are still working on that and hopefully they will follow soon,” a source close to the players told the Siya crew.
Mahashe was previously on the books of Wits and turned out for Mpumalanga Black Aces. Kefile played for Santos during the Cape side’s time in the PSL.
Former AmaZulu player, Makhosonke Bhengu, as well as Sipho Shabalala and Mduduzi Zwane are some of the South African players in Thailand.
