Senegalese defender, Mor Diouf, is back in Senegal as he searches for a new club following his exit from SuperSport United earlier this month.
The Siya crew reported back in May that the 26-year-old was on his way out at SuperSport having fallen down the pecking order under Gordon Igesund, and that he would not be offered a new contract when his old one expired.
Now, the player’s agent, Steve Kapeluschnik, has confirmed to the crew that Diouf has indeed left Matsatsantsa, and that he is now looking for the next step in his career.
Diouf joined SuperSport in 2012 after a three-year spell at Maritzburg United, and is best known for scoring from his own half against Mamelodi Sundowns in 2013.
It is thought that there has been South African interest in the former Orlando Pirates target, though exactly where his future lies remains to be seen.
