The Siya crew reported earlier this week that the 24-year-old was set to join Polokwane City, although it seems that they have been pipped to the post by Steve Barker’s side.
Monama has endured a difficult time at Chloorkop since making the move from Black Leopards at the beginning of the season, playing just seven minutes of PSL football.
However, with Tuks seemingly lacking some creativity in their side of late, it looks like Barker is keen to add Monama to his ranks, something that should be finalised in the coming days.
Monama, who was a consistent performer for Leopards during his spell there, will be hoping that his six month loan will help him get back to his best as he aims to get his career back on track.
The news will come as a blow to Polokwane City, who also look set to miss out on Manti Moholo who is due to join Golden Arrows.
