News reaching the Siya crew is that three Botswana teams are after the services of the former Polokwane City midfielder, Kekaetswe Moloi .
Township Rollers, Gaborone United and Mochudi Centre Chiefs are after the services of the player who went back home following his release at the Polokwane-based outfit.
The player was recently released by City following a long term injury that has forced him to see little game time at the PSL rookies.
As previously reported by the crew, City’s PRO, Patrick Baloyi, said a long term injury took the player something like eight months to recover and they decided it was best for the club to release him.
“The fact that he has featured mostly for us, we decided to have a mutual agreement and release him. Upon arriving after the Christmas break with the same injury, we reached an agreement with him to part ways,” said Baloyi.
However, the Siya crew is reliably informed that the player known as Mara in football circles, will rejoin his former club, Mochudi Centre Chiefs.
"The 28-year-old is currently negotiating with the three teams, but his former team Mochudi Centre Chiefs are the favourites for his signature. The only stumbling block is the contract terms (money) as the player is currently struggling with an injury that kept him out at Polokwane City most of the time in the past six months," said the source in Botswana.
The Siya crew will monitor the situation surrounding the player and keep you updated.
