Kaizer Chiefs right-back, Kgotso Moleko, says that it’s exciting being at the club around the time of the Soweto Derby.
Chiefs take on Orlando Pirates at FNB Stadium this afternoon, knowing that a win against their rivals would keep them hot on the heels of the log leaders.
While Moleko hasn’t featured for the Amakhosi so far this season, he says that it’s still a very exciting time to be at the club and that they are still improving.
Speaking to the Siya crew at an Absa activation earlier this week he said, “It’s very exciting. It’s going to be a tough game and we can still improve a lot, but on Saturday we’re going to be coming in full force and we are aiming to take all three points.”
Siboniso Gaxa has been Stuart Baxter’s first choice right-back at the club since he arrived last year, while Josta Dladla has often been asked to deputise for him when ‘Pa’ is unavailable. However, Moleko will no doubt be waiting to grab his chance at full-back when he is given one.
Meanwhile, there was good news for the Amakhosi regarding Siphiwe Tshabalala's injury, but not Knowledge Musona's.
