Ntseki Gets Amajimbos Job
The Siya crew can reveal that Molefi Ntseki has been announced as the new national U17 team head coach.
Ntseki, who has been working in the Bloemfontein Celtic youth structures, is seen as the right man to guide Amajimbos as they look to compete with the big-guns on the international stage. Ntseki is known as a huge believer in youth development from his days working at the Harmony Academy - an academy which has produced a handful of players that have gone on to play for PSL clubs. Last week the crew revealed that Mamelodi Sundowns youth coach, Shawn Bishop, was the front-runner for the job, but SAFA have gone for Ntseki with Bishop as his assistant coach.
Following the recent successful U17 SAFA National Championships that was held at the Nike Centre, the team will be taking part in the Four Nations tournament in Namibia which runs from Wednesday until Monday next week. Amajimbos will be joined in the tournament by Namibia, Ghana and German side, Westphalia.
The team flew out to Namibia on Monday, accompanied by Shakes Mashaba, who will be acting as the technical advisor.
