Weekend media reports have it that Mamelodi Sundowns dribbling wizard, Lebohang Mokoena, wants to leave the club, but the player has come out and denied those reports.
'Cheeseboy', who is a fan favourite at the club, has not seen much game time this season, largely due to injury, and concedes that he has chatted to his agent about the situation. However, has denied speaking to the media about wanting to leave the club.
“I spoke to the coach first thing Monday morning, and indicated that quotes attributed to me were incorrect, as I had what is a regular chat with my agent, Mike Makaab, and the issue of regular game time arose. I did not express any ultimatum, as reported, that I should be used or lost to the club,” he told the club’s official website. Mokoena said.
Mokoena also had a meeting with the rest of the technical team. He concluded, “All I can say is that everything is ok.”
