SuperSport United midfielder Teboho Mokoena felt they should have wrapped up the game in the first half against Orlando Pirates.
Eric Tinkler's charges had to settle for a point as they drew 0-0 with the Buccaneers at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday.
As a result, SuperSport missed the chance to move into the top eight on the Absa Premiership table.
Mokoena, who was named Man of the Match, feels they need to be more clinical in front of goal.
"We missed our chances," Mokoena told SuperSport after the game.
"We should have won the game in the first half, but we were unlucky. We have to be clinical next time.
"I think we have a good squad, but we will continue playing well and we will see going forward."
