Mokete Mogaila has had his Highlands Park contract extended – the player’s representative has confirmed.
The 25-year-old has grown in leaps and bounds in his Absa Premiership career since joining the Lions of the North in 2018 from the University of Johannesburg (UJ).
The Ga Mashashane-born player has made 17 appearances out of the 24 matches in the league for the Gauteng club.
“Mokete Mogaila has renewed his contract with Highlands Park by two years plus an option to further extend,” the player’s agent Gerald Baloyi confirmed to the Siya crew.
Speaking to the media recently about the winger, Highlands Park coach Owen da Gama said with some of the qualities that he sees in Mogaila, he thinks he could emulate the same achievements as the likes of Bafana Bafana stars Thembinkosi Lorch and Percy Tau.
