University of Pretoria’s Thabo Mnyamane is preparing to begin his PSL career with the side ahead of the team’s first game of the year against Maritzburg United next month.
Mnyamane was signed by Tuks earlier this season, however, the 21-year-old was allowed to go and focus on his studies at North West University.
The striker has been playing for North West University, and was noticed by Tuks after his impressive performances in the varsity football tournament.
The player is training with Tuks and is expected to learn under Steve Barker while trying to help the side improve its position on the Absa Premiership table.
"Thabo Mnyamane is training with us. He is looking fine. He and Raymond Monama are the new guys in the team so far," a source at Tuks revealed.
Tuks won five, drawn two and lost eight games so far this season.
The team will need to be consistent in the second round of the season for a chance to finish in the top eight like they did in their first season in the PSL, during the 2012/13 campaign.
