News emerging from the Golden Arrows camp is that goalkeeper, Siyabonga Mngoma, could be set to leave the club.
Mngoma who has featured for the Durban side on 13 occasions so far this season, was relegated to the bench following the arrival of Ryan Harrison from Chippa United.
His last match for the club came back in December 4 when they lost 3-0 to Bloemfontein Celtic.
Arrows spokesperson, Vusi Vilakazi, told Soccer Laduma that Siya Mngoma's 'decision to want to leave' the club could have been sparked by his lack of game time.
"I cannot divulge much about Siya's situation at the moment but his decision could have been because of his lack of game time. He approached the coach and this might not have gone down well with the coach. I am currently in Johannesburg but will have more information regarding this when I get back."
Asked if Arrows were looking to venture into the transfer market for a new goalkeeper, he said.
"We have three world class goalkeepers at the club but even if Siya was still around, we would still be in search of a new goalkeeper." he concluded.
Siya joined Abafana Bes'thende two years ago from AmaTuks after helping them gain promotion to the Absa Premiership. He capped his Arrows debut with a 2-1 win over Platinum Stars on 11 May 2013 .
