Former Moroka Swallows defender, Lizo Mjempu, turned out for Polokwane City in a friendly game against United FC earlier today (Tuesday).
Mjempu has been looking for a club for some time, since parting ways with Swallows at the end of last season.

The left-back was given a chance to impress Boebie Solomons when the Limpopo side featured in a four-team friendly tournament with United FC, Orlando Pirates and AC Leopards from Congo-Brazzaville.
“I played one game for them (City) in a friendly against United earlier today. It was just one game and I’m already back at home as we speak,” said Mjempu.
Former SuperSport United midfielder, Mark Haskins, also turned out for Solomons’ side in the same game.
Haskins recently had an unsuccessful trial with AmaZulu in KZN. According to information received by the Siya crew, both players are unlikely to sign with the club.
