Milutin Sredojevic Has Spoken On Rulani Mokwena And Luvoyo Memela
Orlando Pirates head coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has discussed his side’s team building aspects ahead of the Soweto derby while also heaping praise on Luvoyo Memela’s performance.
Pirates claimed a 3-1 win over Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto derby on Saturday, March 03, with Memela scoring a brace after being introduced in to the encounter in the second half.
Speaking to the media, Head Coach Micho commended his technical team especially his assistant coach Rulani Mokwena revealed that they have worked hard during the build up to the encounter on Saturday, saying that he also took his side for a team building activity where they all watched the popular Black Panther movie.
“It has been a dream finish of a week. I stand here in front of you but I want you to see my brother Rulani (Mokwena) and other members of the technical team together with all the players who represented with Luvoyo here, we have worked very hard throughout the week, Tuesday we went for a team building aspect and we went to watch the film Black Panther,” Micho told the media.
“The film that we have watched where we are as a sport brand represented in the historic Africa field, has been a special motivation to us to go and prove the point today. Big introduction of here present gentlemen (Luvoyo Memela) there is no bigger pride than himself, he has been one of top three of our performances in January.”
“It is very important the way you start the game but the most important thing is the way that you finish the game. He has shown that he is a top class player that with (his) first touch of the ball he goes to finish,” he added.
