Pirates’ Plan For The Final Days Of The Season
Milutin Sredojevic Has Revealed What Orlando Pirates' Plans Are For The Final Days Of The Season
Orlando Pirates head coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic, could give some out of favour players game time, but will also look to use the break to strengthen the team’s bond.
The likes of Ayanda Nkosi, Justice Chabalala and Lyle Foster have seen little game-time this season and with the Buccaneers having already sealed second place on the league standings, Head Coach Micho and his technical team may give some out of favour players a run-out in their final Absa Premiership encounter on May 12.
“There is a gap of practically two weeks until the last match, that gap we shall use in a way to reassess all the players, to analyse the season behind us, to bond ourselves even more in front of our supporters and to finish the season in the best possible way,” Micho told the media.
“Once we are finishing the season in the best possible way, then conclusions will be (made) from the point of what we shall do. Practically pre-season is already set for us, so we are looking to use this period in front of us.”
“Of course when competitive edge is not there, yes we want to finish in the best way but it is time (to) possibly give to the players that have not got enough (game time), but we count on them so much in the season ahead of us,” he added.
