Orlando Pirates head coach, Milutin Sredojevic is confident that Riyaad Norodien will come back a better player following his loan to Platinum Stars.
The Soweto giants confirmed yesterday that the 22-year-old was sent on loan to Dikwena for the rest of the season, with the Buccaneers’ head coach stating that the player will be missed in the Pirates camp.
Sredojevic also gave an update on the team’s vice-captain, Abbubaker Mobara who has suffered an injury.
“Both of them (Norodien and Mobara) are great members of our team, we love them as part of our team. Norodien going there (Platinum Stars) we shall miss him for this six months because he has been a master of making (the) atmosphere in the team and (the) spirit. Coming back from that long layoff from that injury, I think it will help him in the next six months to get the playing time and come much stronger back,” the Bucs head coach told the media after the game.
“Mobara, deputy captain (and) a player that has always given his best. Unfortunately, that injury kept him out of the match but we fully count on (the) moment when he will be available from (a) medical point,” he added.
