Orlando Pirates head coach Milutin Sredojevic has hailed SuperSport United's display during their 0-0 draw at the Orlando Stadium.
The Buccaneers squandered a chance to move top of the Absa Premiership standings after they drew 0-0 with Eric Tinkler's charges.
As a result, Pirates remain in third spot, level on points with log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
"We have played one very experienced team that had over 20 international games and you could see how they could control themselves throughout the game competitively," the Serbian tactician told SuperSport after the game.
"You could see that playing all over Africa has put the mileage in their legs and they are having a great experience.
"They had the initiative in the first half in creating chances. We also had one on the other side. At half time, we regrouped."
Despite dropping points at home, Sredojevic was pleased with his side's effort on the night.
"I think that the game could have gone either way. I regret that it didn't go our way because the boys really gave their best in today's game," he added.
