Michael Morton Hints At No Return To SSU

Michael Morton is nearing the end of his contract with SuperSport United and has hinted at extending his stay at AmaZulu.

The midfielder, who is spending the current season with AmaZulu on loan from SuperSport, has confirmed his contract details with the Tshwane outfit.  

“I am free at the end of the season. So there is no matter of AmaZulu speaking to SuperSport,” Morton has been quoted on AmaZulu’s official website.

As confirmed by AmaZulu, the 28-year-old central midfielder is keen on extending his stay with the KwaZulu-Natal club.

Despite his progress being disrupted by suspensions at Usuthu, Morton has been playing regularly whenever available for selection at the Durban-based team.

“It’s just sort of me sorting things out with AmaZulu. I hope I will get to some agreement and some sort of conclusion very soon.

“I am very happy here. AmaZulu is a very nice club. My family is really happy here in Durban. I am happy to play for Cavin. I am enjoying my football, I am happy,” concluded the player.
