AmaZulu defender Phumlani Mhamha confirmed to the Siya crew that he is working his way back to fitness, following his recovery from an injury that kept him on the sidelines for some time.
“I feel much better than before and I have even started jogging on my own. I am working hard because I need to be fit again and I will take it from there,” said Mhamha.
The 29-year-old is still contracted to AmaZulu, although he is not in Craig Rosslee’s plans for the season.

Mhamha was placed on the club’s transfer list at the end of the 2012/13 season, with a few other players from AmaZulu.
The other players have since left Usuthu to join other clubs in the PSL and NFD. Mhamha joined AmaZulu in January, after completing a move from Free State Stars.
