Fagrie Lakay put in a fine individual showing by bagging a hat-trick, with Nqoi rounding off the scoring for the Pretoria-based outfit.

Ajax Cape Town secured their spot in the quarterfinals with a narrow 1-0 win over Zesco United in the Last 16 thanks to Leo Thethani's second-half strike.

Defending champions, Glendene United were sent packing, as they suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Atlantic Nacional. 

There was one major upset on the day, as Hellenic defeated AmaZulu 2-0, While, Swansea City made light work of Avendale Atletico, running out 4-0 winners to secure a last eight spot.

Bidvest Wits dispatched Harmony Sports Academy 3-0 to progress to the next round. Ikapa Sporting sent PP Langa crashing out, while Milano United came from behind to defeat Old Mutual Academy in extra-time.
