Platinum Stars captain, Vuyo Mere, has sent his well wishes to all of the dads in South Africa on Father’s Day.
The 30-year-old right back, who is a father himself, has urged South Africa’s dads to honour their duties and make sure that they take care of their children.
Mere’s message is, “Having a child doesn’t mean you are necessarily a father. A father provides for and takes care of his children. Let all the fathers out there take on that responsibility. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads across the country.”
Mere played a vital role for Dikwena this season, putting in a number of fine performances for the club as they claimed an MTN8 and Telkom Knockout cup double.
Soccer Laduma would also like to send our best wishes to all of the fathers in South Africa. Enjoy your day and cherish every moment.
