Man of the Match Innocent Mdledle admitted after SuperSport United’s 2-0 win over Manchester City in a preseason friendly at Loftus on Sunday that it was not an easy game.
Mdledle definitely found the going tough, but he held his own as he guided his side to an impressive win over the English Premier League club.
Speaking after the match he said he was enjoying his football and new coach Cavin Johnson is making all the difference.
“It was tough today against Man City, but thankfully we came through and won the game,” said Mdledle.
“It wasn’t easy playing against Man City but everything went according to plan for us.
“Thanks to the coach and the effort the players put in today.
“Cavin Johnson is the type of coach who likes to play attractive football. We are playing now, we are no longer trying long balls because Cavin wants us to play the ball on the ground.”
