Chippa United have struggled in their first season of top flight football and after chopping and changing a number of head coaches, the club is fighting for their PSL status.
The Cape-based side will be playing against AmaZulu on the final day of the season at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. If the Chilli Boys beat Usuthu and Ajax Cape Town draw or lose to Golden Arrows, they will remain in the PSL.
However, should Ajax win, they will go into the play-offs. Although a win for Black Leopards against Free State Stars and a loss for Chippa will see the Cape side face automatic relegation.
Striker Andile Mbeyane tells the Siya crew that they are not going anywhere and that they will be in the PSL next season.
Chippa have not lost in their last six games and are going into the game beaming with confidence.
“We are confident that we won't go anywhere. We have been doing very well in the past few games and we will continue on that form and win this game. What we need is a win and I am sure we won't go down.
“We have a good team to go down with so we should win this game,” the former Ajax Cape Town striker concluded.
